About the Building

This two-story, red-brick structure – for decades the home of the Fort Worth Press newspaper – now houses the Fort Worth Central Division Police Station.

A portion of the building shares a wall with the ruins of a church that was a predecessor to the First United Methodist Church. The remains of a church vestry were uncovered when a warehouse building was demolished for parking. Sundance Square made the decision to preserve the vestry and wall as a reminder of the area’s past.
