FORT WORTH (October 30, 2017) – Nissan USA and Sundance Square have signed a one-year deal for an undisclosed price, which will include Nissan’s sponsorship of Sundance Square Plaza and events within the Plaza.

“The plaza has been a grand success story since we opened in 2013,” stated Tracy Gilmour, director of marketing for Sundance Square. “We continually work on developing new ideas and partnerships that keep customers engaged and excited. Nissan is a perfect fit – they have a focus on community and providing exciting moments. Working together, we will bring even more excitement to our visitors.”

The partnership with Nissan includes a presence in the Sundance Square Plaza with signage, vehicles in the plaza, a Texas letter photo opportunity and the chance for free giveaways from Nissan. Nissan will also be included in all of Sundance Square’s advertising and promotions regarding music and other activities in the Sundance Square Plaza.

Sundance Square and Nissan have already begun activating the partnership with the Nissan College 100 Die Hard Fan Mobile Tour and vehicles being featured in the plaza in early September for a TCU home game. They were also present at two of Sundance Square’s Bands on the Bricks music series events.

According to Mitchell Hotta, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager, Nissan North America, “Nissan is thrilled to be a part of Sundance Square – a visionary combination of modern and historic, a place where past and future intersect. Which makes it a perfect setting to feature Nissan – we have history here in Texas and are always ready for new adventures that bring the community together. Nissan has enjoyed a 35-year presence in Texas, which began with our financial arm Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation back in 1981. Texas is also home to 70+ Nissan dealerships and 7,000+ employees – all who are highly involved in their local communities.”
