FORT WORTH, TX – The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival is proud to announce details for its inaugural four days of signature events.  Scheduled for March 27-30, 2014, the first-ever festival will infuse historic venues and homegrown flavor with celebrated local chefs, culinary professionals and wine makers into one taste-filled weekend. The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival will honor North Texas’ distinctive heritage of cooking, food, beverage and culinary traditions, while bringing national attention to the region. Twelve Fort Worth chefs, including Jon Bonnell (Bonnell’s & Waters), Terry Chandler (Fred’s), Keith Hicks (Button’s), Mark Hitri (Billy Bob’s),
Lanny Lancarte (Lanny’s), Tim Love (Lonesome Dove), Molly McCook (Ellerbe Fine Foods), Dena Peterson (Café Modern), Juan Rodriguez (Reata), Blaine Staniford (Grace), Michael Thomson (Michael’s) and Donatella Trotti (Nonna Tata) will prepare tastings paired with three Texas craft beers, three Texas wines and three Texas spirits.

Fine arts lovers will experience the performing arts paired with exquisite cuisine, when Chef Dean Fearing of Fearing’s at the Ritz-Carlton, Dallas will provide an epicurean stroll with a progressive lunch on the renowned Bass Performance Hall stage.  Each course will be paired with a unique performance by the finest talents in the city. Only 150 seats are available for this exclusive event.
