Retail Space in 35-Block Development Nears Full Occupancy
FORT WORTH (May 4, 2017) – Shopping in Sundance Square continues to blossom this spring as the 35-block development adds another retailer with a line-up of footwear, fashion, beauty, loungewear/sleepwear, jewelry, and specialty gift items. The 4,200-square-foot store Yours Truly will open this fall at 400 Houston Street bringing an array of recognizable brands not currently found in downtown Fort Worth.
“Tammy and Rock Pistillo are the proprietors of two successful retail stores in Granbury and are now bringing their retail and merchandising expertise to Sundance Square,” said Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square. “With the addition of Yours Truly, we are enjoying a very high occupancy in our current retail space within Sundance Square. The Sundance lineup of retailers offers a well-rounded shopping experience in a beautiful, safe and walkable environment.”
Yours Truly follows the Pistillo’s success of their two stores in Granbury; Destiny and Spellbound. Yours Truly will take the best of both stores and will introduce sustainable bamboo clothing and bedding from FacePlant Dreams; bath and body products from Farmhouse Fresh of McKinney; Crabtree and Evelyn of London; skincare/makeup by Jane Iredale; Waxing Poetic Jewelry; footwear by Alegria and Fly London; gifts and home decor from Mud Pie; unique handbags and accessories from Spartina 449 and Vendula of London; as well as fashion from Dolce Cabo, Yest, Colletta, and Up Pants of Montreal.
“Yours Truly prides itself on providing fabulous customer service, a unique and fun sensory retail experience, a quality and eclectic product mix and complimentary gift wrapping,” said co-owner Tammy Pistillo.
Rock Pistillo added, “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us to have a premier store in the heart of Sundance Square.”
Since the beginning of the year, Sundance Square has opened Francesca’s, Parts Unknown, Istanbul, and Waters. Visitors to Sundance Square were up more than 30% in 2016 over the same period in 2015. Shopping, entertainment, and restaurant sales also were up in 2016.
In addition to national retailers such as White House Black Market, LOFT, Sunglass Hut, Jos A Bank, and H&M, Sundance Square has attracted unique stores like Houston Street Toy Company, Overland Sheepskin Company, and Coyote Urban Boutique.
“We have created an incredible setting for shopping and entertainment that you can’t get anywhere else in North Texas,” remarked Campbell. “Careful consideration goes into every merchant we bring to Sundance Square to keep a balance of entertainment, shopping, and restaurants to provide our visitors, downtown residents and office workers the greatest experience.”
Launched in 2012, Sundance Square’s complimentary valet service has 10 locations throughout the development for guests to utilize. Guests can park their vehicle at one of the valet red umbrellas and pick it up at another location. All complimentary for customers. The valet service enhances Sundance Square’s extensive parking program that includes free parking during the weeknights and all weekend.
Sundance Square is a vibrant, award-winning entertainment district spanning 35 blocks in downtown Fort Worth. The multi-use development attracts more than 10 million visitors each year.
